TD Insurance Affinity Market Group (AMG) has a mandate to profitably grow TDI’s Affinity business by signing new partnerships, renewing and growing existing partnerships while also expanding access required to acquire and retain customers in collaboration with our 775 + Alumni, Professional and Employer partners. AMG’s Partner Marketing Team is focused on planning and executing affinity marketing campaigns that drive program growth for the TD Insurance affinity business. The Partner Marketing team supports AMG’s relationship managers in providing affinity partners with a legendary partner experience, while adhering to our business strategies, marketing plan, and budget. Co-op and Internship opportunities allow you to gain valuable work experience across a number of the businesses at TD. You will work with experienced colleagues, receive world class training, and be part of a community of students across TD, where you will have an impact, grow as individual and experience our culture of care.

Our Co-op/Intern Programming is offered with select Co-op and Internship roles and is designed to help you better understand the TD business, build on critical career capabilities, and broaden your professional network. This program is designed to complement your on-the job experience and features:

Leadership talks with key Leaders from across the organization
Lunch and Learns on topics such as Innovation
Diversity and Inclusion and Personal Branding and so much more
Job Details
The successful intern will have the opportunity to learn about all aspects of AMG partner marketing, which may include assisting with the development of the annual marketing plan, creating partner marketing toolkits, and leading a social media audit of TDI content and providing marketing support for the small business insurance and/or New Strategic Partnerships team within AMG.
Job Requirements
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Marketing/Communications; with the intent of going back to school at the end of your work term
The ideal candidate has a background in/is studying Marketing, with an interest or experience in digital marketing and/or graphic design.

Excellent communication skills:
â–ªCommunicate clearly, both verbally and written to convey innovative ideas, as well as build trust and cultivate relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

Analytical and problem-solving skills:
â–ªAbility to compile and analyze data and present recommendations based on findings.

â–ªIdentify issues and resolve problems by being proactive, resourceful, and using good judgement.

•Administrative Skills:
â–ªSolid knowledge and ease working with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel Adobe Pro and other computer software packages.

Early Talent Requirements

Must be available for a 4 month work term (May 6 – August 30, 2024)
